About the event

Calling all Hertfordshire parishes!

We are delighted to invite you to the Hertfordshire Summit, at the parish of Our Lady Queen of Apostles in Welwyn Garden City, celebrating our young people in parishes across the region.

The Summit will be an afternoon of games, talks, workshops, socialising, and ENCOUNTER with the Lord through prayer, Adoration, and Mass. We will be taking inspiration from the soon-to-be Saint Carlo Acutis in how we can strive for holiness as teenagers today, so this is a day you won’t want to miss!

The event is for young people aged 14-17, so bring along your youth group and invite your friends!

Feel free to bring a packed lunch or snacks to eat during the afternoon, but NO NUTS! After Mass we will have a Parish social to celebrate the day.

This event is free, but donations will be greatly appreciated. You can do so here or you can offer a donation on the day.

For safeguarding reasons, if you are interested in attending please organise to come as a group from your parish, with a Parish Catechist or Youth Worker responsible for the group. If your parish does not have a Parish Catechist or Youth Worker, please email youth@rcdow.org.uk and we will try to find you a local group from your deanery to join.
