Join us for an evening with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal as we explore the life of St Francis of Assisi, the heart of Franciscan spirituality, and what his witness has to say to us today.

The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal are based locally at St Fidelis Friary in Canning Town, where their life of prayer, brotherhood, evangelisation, and service to the poor continues the mission of St Francis. Through their presence in East London, the friars remind us that Franciscan spirituality is not just something from the past, but a living witness for the Church today.

St Francis was a young man searching for meaning, purpose, and joy. When he encountered Christ, his whole life changed. He chose simplicity, prayer, service, and love for the poor, and through his yes to God, he helped renew the Church.

As we mark the Jubilee Year of St Francis, this talk will invite you to reflect on your own relationship with Christ and what it means to live the Gospel with courage in today’s world. Whether you are seeking deeper faith, discerning your next step, or wondering what the Church is inviting you to in this Jubilee year, St Francis reminds us that God can transform any life that is fully given to Him.
