About the event

Join us as for the first time ever, Resonate is hosting a live panel talk! The panel will bring together three different vocations in the Church: priesthood, religious life, and marriage.

This evening is a chance  to hear honest, real, faith orientated reflections from people who are living out their vocation in very different ways. Whether you are discerning your future, wondering what God is calling you to, trying to understand vocation more deeply, or simply curious and have general questions to ask then this panel is for you!

The Panel line up:

We will be joined by Fr Armand de Malleray, FSSP. Fr de Malleray is a Catholic priest, author, and speaker. He is known for his teaching on the Eucharist, the priesthood, Our Lady, the sacred liturgy, and the spiritual life. He will bring a rich perspective on priesthood, mission, and what it means to give your life completely to Christ.

We will also be joined by Sr Cathy Jones of the Religious of the Assumption. Sr Cathy lives in community and is part of the chaplaincy team at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, where she completed her doctorate in Mariology. She is also involved in Assumption Youth Ministry, Assumption Volunteers, and the Catholic Gap Year programme, accompanying young people in faith, service, and discernment. Sr Cathy will bring the perspective of a religious sister, Mariology and Ministry.

Joining them will be Diego and Claudia, a young married couple who have been married for two and a half years and are now expecting their first baby. Having known each other since high school, their story is one of rediscovering faith, growing together, and allowing God to lead them towards the vocation of marriage. Their testimony offers a beautiful witness to love, commitment, trust, and the joy of building a life with Christ at the centre. Diego and Claudia will bring the perspective of a married couple and share the beauty, reality and insight into the vocation of marriage.

This will be an interactive evening with space to ask questions and hear answers about vocation, discernment, prayer, relationships, community, and following God’s will. The panel will give insight from multiple vocational perspectives.

Come with your questions, curiosity, and an open heart. Whether you are discerning your vocation, curious about the Catholic faith or simply have some questions you have always wanted to ask about the faith – this evening is for everyone!
