We are living through an AI revolution. From work and study to creativity and relationships, technologlyis rapidly reshaping our world. But as machines become increasingly capable, a deeper question emerges: what does it truly mean to be human?

Join us at Resonated for our talk, Created not Coded: Co-existing with AI, with Father Rajiv Micheal. Drawing upon Catholic theological anthropology, the Church’s understanding of the person and Pope Leo XIV’s encylical Magnifica Humanitas, Fr Rajiv will explore our identity as people created in the image of God.

He will consider what distinguishes human intelligence, conscience, freedom, relationships and our capacity to love from anything technology can replicate . Together we will explore AI’s opportunities and risks, our growing dependance upon it and how we can use it wisely without allowing technologly to define to diminish our humanity.

Biography:

Fr Rajiv Michael is a priest of the Diocese of Westminster and Parish proest of St John the Evangelist, Islington and Blessed sacrament Kings cross/ Before discerning his call to the priesthood, he spent around a decade working in india and the City of London. His love of Scripture and the ministry of the Word first drew him to the priesthood, and he has a particular interest in philosophyand how the Catholic faith speaks to contemporary life.
