We’re thrilled to launch the FRAMING HOPE competition series.
We want to give a platform for voices of hope in our schools and parishes, so grab your pens and paintbrushes and get creative!

Two Competitions
Framing Hope comprises of a writing competition and an art competition.
You can enter either one or both of the competitions.
To enter the writing competition, write an article of 750 words answering the following question:
“How can you live as a pilgrim of hope in your daily life?”
To enter the art competition, produce a visual representation of hope and send us a high-quality photograph.
Age Categories
There are 3 age categories within which entries will be judged.
13-15 years
16-17 years
18-35 years
Deadline
Entries for both competitions must be submitted by 12:00 (midday) on Friday 14 November 2025.
Winning entries will be announced on Sunday 23 November 2025 – World Youth Sunday (Solemnity of Christ the King).
Winning Entries
Entries will be judged by WYM staff.
Winning pieces will be published on our website and included in our communications.
We will select one winner in each category and one runner-up.
Withdrawing Entries
Once you have submitted your entry, you reserve the right to withdraw it at any point, even upon winning.
